Waking during night

The last few nights my 6 month old (who usually sleeps from 7:30-7:30am) has been waking up during the night and staring into space, without going back to sleep no matter how hard we try. It takes 1-2 hours for him to finally fall asleep which means we don’t get sleep either 😩 Any tips? He’s still in the next to me crib. Thanks!

My LG has done this the past few nights, I’ll do everything to get her back off to sleep and she just babbles, giggles and smacks my hands away when trying to put her dummy back in🤣 last night was a bit better and the only thing that was different was she ended up wanting an extra feed in the day so she went to bed fuller. Tonight has been the same she’s had 1 9oz bottle, 3 8oz and 1 top up 4oz before bed so we will see how tonight goes. It’s so hard though the lack of sleep does not do well with me at all🤦🏼‍♀️. She does also currently sleep in her cot as I noticed she was waking more by hitting the sides of the next to me when she was sleeping, she’s got a lot more space so stretch out now x

We are having the exact same problem although my little one has decided it’s prime time to roll onto her tummy. After about an hour of attempting to crawl, she falls asleep 🤦🏼‍♀️ we had a bigger issue in the next to me as she was trying to roll and couldn’t, so definitely think it’s time for a cot so your little one has a bit more space! Xx

We’re going through something similar. My LB usually sleeps 7:30pm to 6-6:30am. 3 nights ago, my LB woke at 3am, and got him back over by 4am. The 2nd night, it was 5am and he wouldn’t go down again without a feed. Last night, he was wakening every 2 hours, but as soon as I put the dummy in and rocked the next to me, he went back over. We skipped the 4 month regression thank goodness but not sure if there is a leap or regression at 6 months? I have noticed that he is feeding a lot more during the day so maybe a growth spurt or learning a new skill?! Whatever it is, I hope it only lasts a week or so. X
