Contact naps?

Start putting him down earlier. If his wake window is 1 hour...start putting him to sleep at 45 minutes. Contact naps...baby wearing...driving...stroller...any form of movement might help!

When my baby girl hit 6 weeks she hit peak fussiness, it was brutal. A baby carrier was a life saver during this time as she would nap in it

No advice just know It’s a phase momma! don’t worry, this too shall pass. Sending love❤️

Right there with you. He's fussy even when I'm holding him. Only thing that calms him is the boob 🤷🏽‍♀️ ... I'm pretty sure he's not hungry. He uses my nipple as a pacifier. I've tried the pacifier... and that's a hit or miss.

@Gemma i will try and do it once she has calmed down 🫠

@Molly she just doesnt stop crying. she is contact napping now hopefully she wakes up not cranky!

@Charlene is this going to end 😭

@Nadine thanks very much!!!

@Chan same, after a feed, she's passed out on my boob. scared to move her cos i know she'll crack it!

@Karizza that's really hard! Try to reset for tmr and pour yourself a glass of wine for tonight. The witching hour will pass its just awful when you're in it

@Karizza it will! It is known that 6-8 weeks are peak fussiness and it’s where crying increases. I remember the evenings were long with her witching as it would last hours of her just being fussy but it doesn’t stay!! I think it lasted around 1-2 weeks if I remember correctly (which felt like a lifetime!) My girl is 12 weeks now and out of it, she doesn’t even have witching now, she only cries if hungry or tired. Hang in there mama and remember everything is a phase🫶🏼💗

Do you have a sling or baby carrier? I’ve found my little girl sleeps best in her carrier during the day, especially if I walk around with her for a bit and bounce her up and down for a bit! It also means I still have both hands free to eat/drink or do a few light chores etc. Babies definitely like the contact and the movement of being in the carrier!
