My Toddler suddenly hates her nappy being changed

We have gone through phases of her hating it but for a long time she has done so well with her nappy being changed but for the last week she has absolutely hated it. She will cry like she's in pain and try to flip around. I am not sure if she been cold as the weather has been cold/the mat being cold this week but we have been keeping the house at a decent temperature. I can change her if she is standing but it's hard when she done a poo. I don't know why she has gone like this

Toddlers coming u to terrible 2s.. Can start from 18 months... She will hate being kept in once place when she has her own agenda... It will get better just ride it out xx

This has been standard for us for the past 9 months. My little boy will NOT have his nappy changed, it’s like trying to wrestle a crocodile and I dread every single nappy change! I figured it’s just a toddler thing

My little girl hates her nappy being changed and tenses her legs together and cries. She doesn’t like the cold wipes I think x

Same! I gave up the mat and have opted for pull ups where possible. Means I don’t interrupt what he’s doing so much and he can still stand. Seems to work but for poops I usually put on a normal nappy and just ask him to sit/lay down. He’s less agitated if he does it on his terms even if it takes some persuasion 😂

Do you use nappies or pull ups? If pull ups, get a potty!!! My lg HATES nappy changes, but will happily sit on the potty whilst I do it, no harm in earlier exposure either 🤷‍♀️ otherwise its a stressful experience for everyone involved 🤣
