How do you stop twiddling

I'm sick of it at 3 years old still bf and the twiddling has become so painful. I tell her no and gently and she don't care I give her toys to hold I even have a fake boob. When I keep the boob away from her she screams and hits till I give in. It's at the point where I don't even want to keep bf anymore and that makes me sad cause it was my thing and made me feel special. Any advice

I wish I knew how to help you. I hated twiddling from the start and keep the other covered. You have done very well to bf this long.

My daughter did that until she was around 2… it was cute at first but then became one of the most irritating things ever. I finally had enough and would tell her it hurt me, or that I didn’t like it. So for her to stop. I would keep the other boob covered (she would want both completely out every time 🤦🏻‍♀️) and tell her she would have to stop nursing if she twiddled the other side. So i just had to be consistent in telling her no and stopping the nursing session if she wouldn’t listen. Eventually she got the hint and stopped. She’s now 3 and since I’m nursing my newborn, she’s nursing more often again and hasn’t been touching my other nipple. Whew! Definitely hold firm on telling her no, and put your boobs away if she won’t listen. She’ll get the hang of it soon enough.
