Let her go to the bathroom with you to get curious and see what you do. We've found a few board books on potty training that we save to read on the potty. If it's just getting here to actually go to the potty (that's the battle with my July toddler right now): making a special potty song that we sing while we are heading to the potty (potty boy to the tune of Barbie girl by aqua). We also get stickers when we have a dry diaper or go pee/poop in the potty. Don't rush it. Set a timer for every 45 minutes. Don't push it if there's a melt down.
My daughter is the same she will sit on it but ask her if she wants to sit without diaper on it get told no
My son is comfortable peeing in his potty when he needs to go. But pooping ? Absolutely refuses . We haven’t done any public or overnight potty training yet
Don’t force it, she’s strat to do it on her own. Let her come in with you, show her how it’s for a girl to potty, thankful my girl has a older brother encouraging her to use the potty when she needs to
Don’t force it; it’ll make it harder for you both. She’ll do it when she’s ready! Just keep talking about it and reading books about it to prepare her, and try again another time.
