How many bottles a day?

I'm in the process of putting my little girl onto 2 bottles after talking with the health visitor the other day. She did have 3 7oz bottles but now she has 1 7oz in the morning, mid afternoon we've dropped down to 5oz and before bed her other 7oz bottle. The health visitor recommended that we try her on 5oz for a week (have been doing it since Thursday) and then on Thursday we'll be dropping the afternoon bottle to 3oz and keeping it like that for another week, then she won't need it. She also said that if your baby is below 500ml, you need to start giving a multi vitamin daily. We've started doing that now too, can get them on amazon. Hope this helps x

Okay that’s good to no, isit the multi vitamin drops your giving to your little girl? I struggle to get him to drink a lot of water so I don’t think that would benefit him. He was having a 5oz in the afternoon but he’s just not interested in having that one now xx

Yeah I give the multi vitamin drops to my little girl. It comes with a dropper and you just fill it up and put in their food after mixing it, they don't even know. Either speak to your health visitor or its on the NHS website that if your baby starts refusing milk, you can get it into them other ways such as cows milk on breakfast, cheese in meals, yogurts x

Our little girl is 11 months today. Shes in 3 bottles. First bottle about 11:15am, then 3:45pm, then 7::20pm all 9ozs each bottle. Her bedtime is 7:30. She has 3 meals in between these bottles.

Ah okay I didn’t realise you could drop it in their food that will be better for him. Ok thank you I will take a look. My little one has a bottle first thing and then that’s it till bedtime so first bottle around 7/8ish then one about 6:30/7ish xx

My boy would happily have 2 a day. But I got told that babies at this age need at least 27oz a day. I’m not sure though. He currently has 8oz morning 8oz afternoon 5oz teatime 8oz bedtime

@Georgia yeah I wasn’t saying that anything’s wrong. I’d like to drop a bottle too I just didn’t know if I could that’s all xx

9.5 months and she has three 8oz bottles a day & 3 meals - she’s dropped them naturally we’ve not taken them from her x
