Anybody booked scans yet?

I am wanting to book a scan and a peekaboo early gender test at 6 weeks 5 days or 7 weeks 2 days I just can’t decide

You can get a gender test at 6 weeks done?

It’s a blood test, there is peekaboo and sneekpeak. There are like 5 places that do them near me. Each place has its own rules when you can do them, 2 places say 6 weeks, teo says 7 weeks, and the other says 8 weeks. And it’s a blood test, and they send the results to your email within 1 to 2 days.

But I really want to do it

I’m going to try and get an early appointment at my EPU because of a previous ectopic. I’ve had a healthy baby since then but it’s still a constant source of worry right now

@Jenna honestly I do not blame you. I had an ectopic pregnancy and then fell pregnant after with a healthy baby also, she's my little miracle. I wasn't sure if they offered the scan after having a healthy pregnancy though?

@Leanne tbh I had to fight for one with my last baby, but I’m going to give it a go. I prefer nhs scans to private, they’re more thorough and don’t rush you out the door while you’re still zipping your jeans haha

I do see your point lol well if they refuse it, you can get a transvaginal scan from 5-weeks to see that baby is in the right place
