Brocoli/cauliflower florets. Banana cut in half and then push your finger through the middle it creates 3 finger strips, avocado, tomato cut into quarters, cucumber (I cut into four strips and also remove the skin), slices of orange (cut thin- my little one mainly just sucks the juice rather than actually eating it), blueberries just make sure you squash them, grapes also make sure you cut these, kiwi - my little one is 9.5months so I'm starting to smaller bites to help improve his pincer grip. Toast with butter or cream cheese, mini pittas with tomato puree, mixed herbs and cheese in the oven- little pizza strips. Banana pancakes, I also make sweet potato pancakes which my little boy loves! Banana bread, porridge oat bars
Buttery wholemeal toast, cut into fingers, is always a win for us
Strips of omelette, banana fingers, broccoli florets, cucumber quarters (I just swap them before she takes a chunk of the skin), strips of chicken but she’s not really a fan unless it’s from a drumstick, courgette, raspberries slightly mashed but letting her use her hands, Small chunks of fish, banana pancakes cut into strips, toast with spread on (cut crusts off and slice into 4 strips)
Currently got puff pastry, pesto and cheese pinwheels in the oven for his lunch x
Steamed parsnips or carrots atm. Cut into finger size. He also likes buttered toast fingers as above. He’s 8 months tomorrow. X
Toast fingers are really easy. I’ve made little savory muffins and flapjacks and puff pastry bites. Strips of chicken, bits of wrap, avocado slices. Soft cooked veg. Mashed potatoes and rice, pasta. She generally has what we’re having now! 8 months this week
We gave my LO whatever we would eat just being mindful of the high allergens and making sure to introduce these one at a time
