What Rae said, mine never ate broccoli but will eat it mixed in things and cut smaller or dipped in cream cheese. You just have to keep offering it, it's all new to babies. It's just odd and new so consistency is key. If you stop offering it to them then they will definitely refuse it when older.
Annems comment reminded me of my aha moment from the weekend! My LG doesn't like peas at all & she's gone off toast which she used to love. Went out for brunch and I had this mashed pea and feta with my toast and she loved it!! She even let me feed her - which never happens!! Find something they like, like cheese/yoghurt and use it as a means of getting in the fruit and veg!
@Rae yeah I've noticed my little one rarely likes veg just steamed and on its own. Has to be in a 'recipe' of some kind. Which is fair enough! Cheese and peas for the win!
Honestly just patience and consistency. Some babies just take more time than others. I just kept offering a variety and eventually she liked tangerines and tomatoes and for a while it was all she ate. Recently she's even off those! I think babies just go through phases like us of exploring and figuring out tastes and textures. Try mixing in yoghurt, fruits or mashed veg in pancakes or muffins. My LO loves pasta but doesn't like all veg so I'll blend up multiple veggies in a tomato sauce base and she'll eat that. Just keep trying you'll get there 💜 Also am sure you're doing this already but exaggerated eating while your baby is eating and eat your meals at the same time. Very often she won't want what's on her own plate but when I start eating her food or mine she'll try it 😆
