This happened to me in 2023, I feel for you the pain is HORRIFIC! Make sure if the pain doesn’t ease within a few days go back, I needed antibiotics 3 rounds! It’s common for it to become infected due to the area and open wound. Keep on top of pain relief and don’t be afraid to go back to hospital if you feel it’s not improving xx
I have been admitted again, as woken up and blood all down my legs not sure if the wound is completely open now.. very frustrating that they don’t re-stitch, how long was it till you recovered? Xxxx
@Holly aw I feel for you honestly, I won’t lie it took about 4 months for me because it just wasn’t healing. I begged them to re stitch but they wouldn’t! I would just try make sure you ask for antibiotics incase of infection xx
the recovery is definitely worse, i couldnt sit down for about six weeks but mine was bigger, it is hard but it does get better. i used some products that really helped with the pain if you want me to send you the links? hope you feel better soon! x
