MAM Bottles

I have bought the MAM bottles, and I understand that you can sterilise them in the microwave (super easy) but has anyone else got a steraliser for them instead? Is it worth it or best to just use the microwave?

We’ve bought mam bottles but have also bought a Milton cold water steriliser as it can have other stuff like dummies put in it and I’ll probably use that more than the microwave

I’ve got a mix of bottles just in case baby doesn’t take to them so I’ve also got the Milton cold water steriliser, it only takes 15 minutes so in case MAM bottles don’t work out at least I’ve got a simple steriliser x

I used mam with my daughter and will be using them again with my son! We used a uv steriliser and it turned all the bottles yellowish so I’ll be using Milton water steriliser this time! X

I bought a steriliser and then never used it because it was super easy to whack them in the microwave. You can do one or multiple at a time so as I’m so disorganised that felt easier when I needed one quickly 🤣

Milton water steriliser was so easy with our first that we will be getting another xx

I use the tommie tippie steriliser for my 300ml mam bottles and have never had any issues and holds up to 4/5 bottles at once depending on how you fit them

I have used the microwave steriliser and it ruined my microwave with the stream. All the paint has flaked away. So we got a brilliant steamer from boots you just plug in at the wall it takes 7 bottles and steriles them in 6 mins. Oh and we have tried many different bottles. My favourite are Philips they are great. They have a valve and it stops air bubbles getting into baby when drinking and the teats are like your nipples so close to nature.

I use the tommee tippie steriliser
