Tested for diabetes again
Has anyone been tested again after the first time because of sugar in wee well I had a donut before my appointment and sugar in my urine and now they think I’ve got gd can anyone help me

This happened to me! I had some Haribo before my appointment and had sugar in my urine but all subsequent tests have been fine. Maybe ask to have another test another day?
I’ve just finished testing for diabetes again. Had the drink back in November and baby is measuring big so I’ve had to do the home test and prick my finger 4 times a day. Xx
I've had the GTT 3 times during this pregnancy now. Mines been clear each time but as pregnancy progress it's still possible to develop it as our insulin response changes

Eating something sugary before an appointment wouldn’t cause sugar in your pee. They’ll need to test incase it is diabetes x
