My boyfriend keeps complaining the house needs cleaned

He works from home and doesn't wake up until an hour before he goes to work. We have a 2 year old that I take care of alone most days, and then on the weekends, I take care of 3 kids, my 2 year old and her brother and sister 7 and 8. He complains to his mom, to his friends, but he doesn't help clean. I've told him that I'm tired of hearing him complain unless he's going to help.

Nah he can help or stfu. My fiancé works 84 hours a week away from home. He still comes home and helps with the kids and lets me sleep. There’s literally no excuse.

I put my daughter to bed early and when I came downstairs the first thing he said was the house needs cleaned

If he is upset with the house hold chores not being to his standard he should help take a load off of you. If you are watching and parenting and caring for multiple kids especially on the weekends then he can get up an 3 hours before work and spend 1-2 cleaning. My husbands works a job full time and on call along with a second job being away from our home 14+ hrs a day depending on the day and still comes in and will ask if I need help or what didn’t get done so he can handle it especially those days I’m not up for it!

@rissa yes he works in the oilfield and he works 12 hours a day. He doesn’t get days off until it’s time for him to come home
