I put my daughter to bed early and when I came downstairs the first thing he said was the house needs cleaned
You’re nicer than me because I would lose my mind.
If he is upset with the house hold chores not being to his standard he should help take a load off of you. If you are watching and parenting and caring for multiple kids especially on the weekends then he can get up an 3 hours before work and spend 1-2 cleaning. My husbands works a job full time and on call along with a second job being away from our home 14+ hrs a day depending on the day and still comes in and will ask if I need help or what didn’t get done so he can handle it especially those days I’m not up for it!
@Kaylie EIGHTY FOUR????
@rissa yes he works in the oilfield and he works 12 hours a day. He doesn’t get days off until it’s time for him to come home
My husband has learned comments about house or what's for dinner will get the response "you're an adult with two hands, you can do it yourself". Started when he asked what was for dinner as I was dealing with a screaming baby. Now it's a joke that he quickly adds, "asking if you had something already in mind or if I can just start making something". We both worked full time back then, I was high hours on a software transition... And I can honestly say I'm more exhausted at the end of the day as a stay at home mom lol. Never get to clock out and mega rare time off lol
Nah he can help or stfu. My fiancé works 84 hours a week away from home. He still comes home and helps with the kids and lets me sleep. There’s literally no excuse.
