@Nat awesome! The heavier the weight the more you feel it in your hamstrings, butt & shoulders! Here I was going for more of a cardio exertion with lighter weights.
That exercise will be hard on your back, which for those of you lifting small children may not be a very good thing. There are other good exercises out there for glutes and hamstrings that are easier on your back.
@Vanessa of course there are other exercises and not every exercise is meant for a specific individual. For myself being a fit & active mom daily who lifts two children at a time I have no problem doing this one and even increasing the weight. No where in this post does it say “only” do this workout. It explains the target areas it can help. Thanks for your input though. It’s a unique form of functional training workout. Not for everyone but functional training actually helps you get stronger for daily activities such as holding your children.
