Introducing cows milk

This has probably been talked about, but how are you introducing cows' milk? I have started to put it into his ready break and weetabix. But what would I do next? Would you give him half formula and half cows milk or just a little bit of cows' milk here and there 🤔 and then would it still be recommended they have formula? If they are happy on cows' milk? Thanks in advance.

For now we are only using cow’s milk in food because we still breastfeed but a couple friends of mine have been adding 1/4 cows milk to 3/4 formula and increasing it week by week til it gets to just cow’s milk. How many bottles is he on? A friend of mine still has one bottle mixed formula and cows milk and one bottle just cows milk and her little one is 14 months old:)

He's on 3 bottles 🍼 now

Yes I used cows milk in food from Weaning then started with one oz into bottles and up’d it gradually to use up formula and ease her onto it.

I used cows milk in food to introduce it when weaning, and a week before he turned one I started giving a small sippy cup with cows milk in with his breakfast, he’s on 2/3 5 ounce bottles a day and just did a straight swap when his formula ran out after his birthday! It’s been working fine for us so far ❤️
