That wouldn't surprise me. Hope you are on the mend soon x I know Hypothyroidism is hard, I'm sure it would be made harder if its secondary.
@Michelle I am yet to speak to a doctor. No idea in all honesty. It's definitely harder to detect. For example I have optimal TSH but low FT4 & FT3. I usually get tested only TSH
@Michelle I also have a microadenoma & experienced a severe blood loss during delivery both can factor into secondary Hypothyroidism.
I have primary hypothyroidism caused by Hashimotos Disease. From a quick google, secondary Hypothyroidism seems to only be caused by problems with the pituitary gland.
