Lexie for baby girl

We quite like the name Lexie for a girl but what are people’s honest thoughts? Would everyone think that her real name is Alexandra or Alexis or something and that Lexie is just a nickname or am I overthinking it?

Lexie is common as a full name now… I know of a few, so don’t let that put you off

I think most people would assume it's a nickname, but I also don't think that matters!

I have a friend who's full name is Lexie so I don't see it as a nickname. Also my name is Alexis and I've never thought Lexie was a nickname to it
