Potty training toddler who can’t talk yet

My two year old recently diagnosed with autism I have started potty training and it’s been a bit of a challenge, if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Does he sign? I haven’t potty trained non verbal toddlers but I’ve done non verbal kids and it was all about routine and consistency. We took them to the bathroom every 30 minutes then increased time gradually and used sign, communication devices, cards etc to initiate

Visual cues, lots of patience, rewards, practice I have potty trained 6/7 year olds at my work, I say I.. I have been part of their journey. X

Definitely visuals But also make sure he’s ready as a lot of children with autism I have worked with aren’t ready until older

We just recently got his diagnosis but he can sign and say words when he wants something we worked on this very early as we suspected he was autistic. I will definitely incorporate visual cues more because he seems to respond positively to that. Thank you!
