Baby food makers? Unnecessary or ?

The only reason I have one us because someone gifted a nutribullet baby food blender that was on clearance. Honestly I absolutely love it but I don't think it's a necessity and unless you're going to save it for another baby or give it to someone else you're just gonna have another item.
I got a baby food processor, and I love it. It's much smaller than my big blender, so it takes up less space on the counter. It has 3 steam baskets if I want to steam foods separately. After steaming, I just dump everything in the blender part, and it's super fast and easy to clean. I got it on Amazon for less than $100. It was worth it for me
If you’re interested and want to do BLW I still would. Just leave containers of prepared things just like you would if you were leaving purées.
I really like the mama bear one from Amazon- it steams and purées in one shot - soooo easy! Is it a necessity? No. Does it make life easier for busy moms? IMO yes!
I have the EVLA blender from Amazon and love it! It steams and blends, and it also sterilizes and cleans itself too. Not necessary, but definitely makes life easier and saves me time!
Regular blenders and food processors will be fine, so it’s not necessary. Up to you if you’d like a designated appliance for baby 🤷🏻♀️
@Rosalie either way I have to buy one as I don’t have a food processor my partner has this crazy ninja blender that I’ve never used but I can learn it has like 6 attachments lol

I actually ordered one yesterday because I got tired of mashing myself. I found one that steams & mashes that I can’t wait to try… Single mommy & want the best foods but don’t have time to do it without help. I also bought some small glass containers to save for later so I don’t have to prepare foods several times a week.
@Mel I make big batches, freeze it in ice cube trays and then keep those in freezer bags so I can take however many cube portions I need to defrost.
@Heather that's what I started doing! Ice cube trays make the perfect portions!
@Liz yes and they're so convenient. You can pop a few in a jar and take them out with you.
I ordered one today, some jars, and freezer trays ✨ this might be my last baby 🥲 unnecessary or not imma do it lol
@Heather I will check into the freezer trays. I was just laying in bed this morning wondering if I should buy something different to freeze. I don’t want to really freeze the glass.
I just use a regular food processor. I've made the purees for all 3 of my children with a food processor. I've never done BLW.
