Anyone have advice on looking for daycares?

Are you looking for only the $10 a day ones or are you open to the private unlicensed dayhomes? There’s a few Facebook groups that have a lot of dayhome s posting availability but they do go quickly and often arent 10 a day. We got lucky after three years of just emailing a daycare at the right time and getting a spot but I’m finding many aren’t really abiding by the waitlists anymore and just giving it to random people or people who harass them.

I was really hoping to get a 10$ a day but I am trying to adjust my budget to give us more options
