Maternity leave and accrued annual leave

Hello, My understanding is that while I am on maternity leave I keep accruing annual leave as an employee. I started maternity leave in November 2024. Does this paid annual leave expire in 2025 according to the UK law?

I was paid extra for any leave that expired while I was on mat leave but have continued to accrue leave so had my full allowance by the time I returned to work.

Any leave I've accrued while on maternity I can take after. My holiday year runs from October until September. Baby was born 10 days early, so I'll use up annual leave from before my due date first along with an extra day we always get at Christmas from the company. That'll sort my leave for two weeks after maternity ends at the end of this month. Then I'll still have my full entitlement to use up until September

It depends on company policy. We can carry ours over up to 18months after

Thank you! I will have to clarify with them then
