Pregnancy pillows and sleep

Any recommendations on pregnancy pillows and when did you start using them? Also, when are we supposed to stop laying on our back to sleep?

I think I got my pillow when I was about 13 weeks as it was so comfy when I had morning sickness 😂 mine was from Asda it was quite reasonably priced as some of them can be expensive and I slept on my side a lot earlier than recommended to get used to it for when I had to, I think it’s the 3rd trimester you’re supposed to stop xx

I got told to try stop sleeping on my back around 28 weeks

I got one off Amazon last time, this time I’m getting the momcozy one. I think around week 16 you should avoid sleeping on your back and definitely not after 28 weeks. So I’ll probably try not to once the first trimester is over.

I got the nuliie from Amazon and started using it around 22 weeks and I defo could have used it earlier! Not recommended to sleep on your back from 28 weeks, I tried to stop earlier to get used to it but would still lie on my back for short periods up until that point

I started using mine from day one 🤣 I’m a back sleeper though and wanted to try and get out of the habit before it became a problem. Although I’m nearly 19 weeks now and my hips are starting to hurt unless I have a pillow between my legs so I definitely feel like I need it now

I'm 30 weeks and started not lying on my back from about 26 to try and get used to it. I used one of those massive pregnancy pillows but I found it too restrictive/ claustrophobic so switched to one that is more of a wedge which supports bump and back. I find it sooo much more comfortable (and hubby actually has more space in bed!), then i stick a pillow between knees

I started using my pregnant pillow around 16 weeks. I stopped laying on my back not too long ago (I’m about 25 weeks) But the pregnancy pillow has been the best purchase I’ve made so far https://www.amazon.com/Meiz-Pregnancy-Sleeping-Maternity-Pregnant/dp/B09MCR5255/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2QJS6DEC66WMZ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.XflmlNBA0aGQeSPG0fZEzi4e9hfWlaGvpX2DHIgJxX2RD3m5JQ_hX_BFyCAxpb_CldOR0D2eVsSXw67VNSP3jgmmUg4rx7LxpZF9WoyB3lthiuxh76BgbPffHn1G694ctdt58EpmN6sWYiTegcau0Om8qvYEHpKqWU7S9VL8AKSf1IkxULK5AC0_PBfjrhL2hTdu8poK5Xa0Mw5AjVrrsA.xjvcnfi8TtzDH2D61omOJU8dqQ9kPHfdN29Qd5DRBYY&dib_tag=se&keywords=extra+long+pregnancy+pillow&qid=1736965454&sprefix=extra+long+preg%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-3

I got one around 20 weeks because I kept waking up on my back. My mommy app said around 17 weeks to stop back sleeping. I love the pillow but it’s too damn hot here in Florida to sleep with it, my partner, and our dog. So I use it for naps when I get the bed to myself and at night I use a regular pillow between my legs and have my back up against my man.
