What sort of food is it and how is it frozen?

I put the food I’ve made and frozen in the fridge to defrost.

I just get it out the freezer the night before and put it into the fridge x

I take it out the night before and leave it in the fridge to defrost xx

I microwave mine, give it a good stir to make sure there’s no hot spots and then let it cool down.

Thanks everyone It’s items like pasta and muffins x

I also microwave these (I’m never organised enough to remember to get them out in advance). I just leave them to stand and then cool down before serving

With solid items then get them out and defrost in fridge so they're evenly defrosted with no hotspots. With the pastas and stirable things you can use the defrost setting on your microwave until you can give it a good mix and microwave as normal and stir it thoroughly to avoid hot spots. You might need to add a little water or butter to stop it drying out too much

Thank you
