Yes! Really regret getting the car seat in all honesty.
There’s a Facebook group called Car Seat Safety UK, you can post a photo of your baby/child in their car seat and some details like babies age and what car seat it is and they will give advice on the fit. They can also give recommendations on other car seats if you wanted to switch or for future car seats once they’ve grown out of the infant carrier if you give details on their height, weight and your budget
I’m struggling to get mine to recline too!
If you have the recline function you need to pull the leaver at the back but only when baby isn’t in it. I spent ages trying to recline mines with baby in it but worked with her out. X

We had the same issue. We removed the pad behind the newborn head and it was perfect! We didn’t know that could be removed and it was the place we purchased from who told us when we went to double check how baby was in seat. Hope this helps!
