I suffered terrible depression through my first trimester and part of my second because I was too afraid to up my medication doses. But my psychiatrist referred me to a perinatal psychiatrist who explained the benefits of my medication and put all my fears to rest. We adjusted my dose and I’ve been feeling great ever since. I highly recommend asking about a perinatal psychiatrist!

@Paige im scared to be on antidepressants bc some can cause birth defects i know they recommend Zoloft but i still get worried But my hormones are everywhere so i need to do something
Just curious but what do your daily habits look like? Are you doing any self care, working out, what is your diet like? Hormones play a big factor and harnessing them through natural ways can reallly help boost mood and produce good hormone production
