Sterilising

Do we need to sterilise things such as baby spoons since they are coming in contact with baby’s mouth as googles saying no but surely it’s the same as teething toys etc and need to be sterile?

I'm sterilising mine. I'm unsure if you need to but it makes sense to do so.

I've never sterilised them with any of my kids x

Let them be exposed to germs. They need it for their immune systems and it actually decreases their chance of allergies.

I used a spoon for giving vitamin drops so sterilised that for the first 6 months or so, but once baby is weaning then they're presumably also sitting on the floor and putting goodness knows what in their mouth, so sterilising seemed pointless 🤷🏼‍♀️

The weaning book is read said to sterilise spoons etc until 6 months 🤷🏻‍♀️
