I could have written this myself! It’s extremely stressful. Things you should look in to are reflux and/or silent reflux and if you have the funds, see an osteopath
My little girl was the same when she was prescribed Aptamil Pepti 1 for CMPA. I started putting infacol in her bottle to sweeten it up a bit or I’ve read several times you can use alcohol free vanilla extract to sweeten it also x
My daughter now takes it without the infacol but I just used it for a little while whilst she got used to the taste
My little boy was prescribed Nutramigen, it’s not the lactose that’s the issue it’s the protein in cows milk, try a different formula and possibly some infacol before a feed, it’s very stressful and there are good days and bad x
You should be able to get it on prescription if you are in the UK just speak to your GP and ask for a dietary nutritionist referral
My baby girl was the same when we tried her on the lactose free one she refused to drink it so we put her back on cow and gate but add the Colief drops which breaks down the lactose in the milk which makes it easier for them to digest an we haven’t had any problems since xx
It has a very strong smell and taste so could be them just getting used to the new milk it took my daughter a few few to adjust to the allergy formula if it doesn’t improve by then you might need a different formula.
