@Amy that's interesting to know..thank you!
Take them! They’re Your child not there’s. Go enjoy :-)
@Megan I like the spirit! x
It is a good spirit but look up the new fines before you make a decision. If 3 consecutive holidays are taken that equal fines in 3 years, you can be fined up to £1000 per child and end up with a criminal record. Of course, not until they are 5 years old 😊
Home education all the way Tnen! You cannot get back Family time, if you’ve got the opportunity Go enjoy, make memories with Your child ☺️
@Megan one holiday per year is manageable but thriving to do better each day ❣️
One is brilliant! Doesn’t matter how many. You’re doing Amazing! 💗
No rules, you’d still need to pay any tops though.. our preschool charged a small fee as the day was 6.5 hours rather than the funded 6… but yeah do it while you can!
There is no rule, you can take your child on holiday. Until their 5th Birthday, schools cannot legally fine you. So even when they start school officially in September 2026, they cannot fine you until their 5th birthday in March 😊 they can also only fine you if they miss 10 consecutive sessions. Each am and pm is classed as a session so 5 full days.
