Fussy eating

Just spent ages making a lovely healthy meal for my son to just refuse it and scream at the sight of it 🥲🥲🥲 he’s now eating fruit for his dinner. Does anyone have any tips? I’m really struggling with this

No tips but same with us! Picky eating stage begins. Have favourites available so they get some nutrients in and if all else fails just try again an hour later.

We’re going through this now although I think teething may be the culprit. I tried ours with two different meals tonight and she ended up eating raspberries instead 🤦‍♀️

I’m sorry you’re going through it as well 😩 it’s so hard. I feel like mine has been like this a couple of months now and worried I’m going to have one of those kids who eats like 5 foods 😔

Noo don't worry about that. All kids go through this stage which is totally normal! They're more aware of themselves and able to tell what they like and what they don't. We as adults also have our comfort foods when we are sick or feeling a bit of, same with little ones who will be teething most the time. Just keep offering a varied diet even if they refuse, it takes couple of times of offering before they accept it and figure it out it's not bad. Mine hates bananas since weaning but I still offer a bite every now and then, sometimes she takes a bite sometimes she doesn't. Eventually she'll love them haha. Persistence is key!

@Sarnjeet thank you so much for the reassurance 🥲
