@Steph ive heard catholic schools are brilliant, however we are muslim so not sure if it would work? Do they teach a lot about catholicism?

Yes if your Muslim don’t send your child as they have to be catholic to go more time and they make them do Hail Marys which I’m sure you won’t be allowing your child to partake in ..

@Dar thanks, i did call up and although they allow children of all faith to attend, most if not all catholic schools require children to attend mass and their ethos are very catholic based so ill have to find a non catholic school

yeah my dad wanted to send me to one but they said I have to attend mass so I didn’t go. hopefully you find a suitable school soon 🙏🏾

@Steph i rang canterbury theyre all full atm unfortunately Managed to find one school with a space, yew tree primary not sure how good it is

@Steph i think yew tree is by aston villa football club St teresa are also fully catholic and cherry orchard never answered but i need to try them again!! Thanks so much for your help btw

@Steph yess thats what i did after i wrote this post! I went on birm city council and typed in my postcode and a load of schools nearby came up and ive been ringing them one by one. 90% of them are full though and have waiting lists and the others are either catholic or COfE, going to a viewing for yew tree though so hopefully i like it!

@Steph im moving from another city though so cant wait on the waiting lists as my child will be without a school then so need to put him in the first school i find who has spaces
