Weaning baby off Milk bottle

How far did you ladies go? I have no idea where to begin to wean him off! He’ll be 2 soon☹️

We swapped to a suction beaker type (my LG has always liked laying down in bed for milk so needed a non leaky one when tipped up) at about 18/20 months, and she only has those specific type of beaker for milk, to know the difference. It took her a couple of weeks to warm to it, but just kept being persistent 😊

Swapped to sippy cup at about 1 and a half

My daughter was a little past one maybe one and half then my boys were 9 to 10 months on a nuk soft sprout sippy cup my youngest boy is on a bottle 10 months and honestly probably way past one because he was a 27 weeker and it took us forever most of his life to find a bottle he would take and even now it’s a total nightmare he’s had feeding issues his whole life and tongue lip and cheek ties

Just got him off bottles at 18m. Found a straw cup he likes that he now associates with milk.

We’re almost completely weaned and my daughter just turned 17 months. She currently gets 3oz before bed still but we’re going to be completely done by 18 months 🥰

@Rachel he literally does the same he uses it to sooth and loves to lay down whilst drinking. I dreading it ☹️ could you share the brand of bottle you purchased that worked for your little one?

@Hajra I’ve tried this but he just gets really upset when he wants to sooth to sleep. But like others have said I think I need to be persistent
