Hitting
How do mamas deal with hitting and kicking? My LO is 2 and he doesn’t do it all the time but he hits me and can kick when I’m trying to change him. I try and stay as calm as can be and tell him no. I know it’s a phase but I would just like to see what others do

Similar here, but sometimes he laughs and keeps trying which makes me worry he's a psychopath 🙈 but yes I say no and if he's sitting on me I'll put him on the floor and say I don't want to sit with him if he hits me and that it's 'sore' as he knows that word well and that it makes me sad
My daughter has just turned two and she bites and hits when getting dressed and nappy changed. It’s normal I think they are asserting themselves 😂. I tell her a few times right we’re getting dressed soon or your nappy needs changing please lay down and I get her to help getting the wipes and nappy and her clothes. X

I say no, gentle hands and feet. If he does it again, I walk away from him. He usually comes running after me so I explain that it made mummy sad. He usually stops after that but on the odd occasion I have removed his shoes and taken away what he’s hit me with eg bottle or toy.
