What do you think this could be
I obviously know everyone will have a different opinion which is fine but is anyone else going through this or been thru it?
So my son has now started to close his eyes when we are in certain situations - a wedding, a new play centre setting BUT with the same kids. At first I thought maybe he’s overstimulated by the people and new settings etc but he’s doing it at my mums house like he closes his eyes once we get in. Idk if this is him developing shyness or if this is related to autism. Because he’s fine in a busy shop or busy train so I’m actually so confused what’s going on. Yes, I will mention to hv.

My little girl is the same as @Stephanie will do it when I'm trying to get her to do something she doesn't want. They think they can't be seen when they can't see, so it might be that he's trying to hide? What's his mood when doing it?
Mine sometimes does this to sort of pretend to be asleep to avoid things. Usually when we are getting him dressed to go out or for bed. He knows he's doing it and finds it funny so I'm not sure it's the same situation but we assumed it's because he's realizing how to play games etc
