It can be very overwhelming, I hate being in the house all day but it’s putting me off baby groups. We have dogs so we’re out for plenty of walks but want him to encourage his curiosity too. It’s hard sometimes. He starts nursery at the end of March, I think I’ll deffo be getting my moneys worth lol
Nursery will definitely be a good outlet for them!
Hi , I can understand how draining it must be. I have a friend with similar situation, She managed it by reducing stimulating TV programs and reduce TV time too. She also try not to give him any sweetened food or drinks. And she also talked with her Pediatrician
My LB is the same, awful with sleep sometimes, so it’s exhausting to run around him after getting 1 or 2 broken hours of sleep at night 😭 it’s intense! Fun at times but I empathise, it gets overwhelming! sometimes he is just all over the place while screaming, shaking his head and sometimes laughing at himself while banging anything he could find against a wall, its hilarious but sometimes I just stare at him and wonder if he’s ok😂, he is at nursery 2 days a week now and although I work those days, it feels like a needed break to recharge, best money I’ve ever spent! I try to keep him out of the house, we go to libraries, groups, soft plays or some classes. Good luck to us during the toddler stage! 🥹
Think this is a boy thing 😄 my little girl is active. But I've seen boys are way more hyper. I got a boy arriving soon. I've always wanted a little Bart Simpson. But it comes with hard work lol
Mine little girl is exactly the same. None stop from the moment she wakes up & doesn’t need that much nap time. But eats well & sleeps well at night! It’s definitely exhausting at times so I feel you. They must be very curious babes that like to explore!
My 10 month old is the exact same. She’s been crawling since 7 months too and just does not stop, won’t sit still for a minute and if I put her in a pram or high chair she just screams and wants to get out unless I give her food to entertain her 😂 anything else, toys ect she’s bored after 2 seconds and kicking off again. She just wants to be on the floor and on the move the minute she’s awake. I feel you, it’s exhausting, she also doesn’t sleep at night, used to be a great sleeper but since she started crawling she now just doesn’t sleep at night 😩
@Shannon we’re literally living the same live right now 🫠😂
I almost thought it was only my little girl that’s like this 😅. She’s been on the move since she was 7 months old and has recently started walking so she’s never been a sit still sort of baby. She’s everywhere as soon as she wakes and has only recently started learning to climb the stairs, get off the sofa. I always think it’s because she has way older siblings so she just wants to join them in whatever.
My baby has the same energy levels as yours! Cant keep him out of anything, and its exhausting. He eats well, isnt overly fussy but sleeps like crap. Finding it vwey overwhelming now too x
