What could this be?
Just had baby no.2 who is a week old. Any ideas what this rash could be?

Ah okay, so nothing bad came of it? Wondering if it’s baby acne or allergy…. Good to hear it went away
My baby had something like this when she was born, it turned out to be eczema which she is just now growing out of (over 2 years later). It could be baby acne though as this is also something babies get! Always best to ask a GP to be sure x
I think it's baby acne we had yeah and just went away
It looks a lot angrier this morning and now all over back and chest. I spoke to triage and they said it’s likely “newborn rash” and seemed to think it would go away by itself. It looks like hives to be honest so I’m going to keep my eye on it and take to GP this week if it doesn’t look any better. Hope it is a newborn rash rather than eczema or allergy
My baby boy was absolutely covered in this on his face and neck at same age, lasted few weeks then dissappeared, never came back
