@Karuna ooo that’s reassuring thank you !
Absolutely not! Every child is different and I know people say that all the time but my son is 22months and only just starting to talk x
My pediatrician would tell me if you don't hear them saying mama or dada by 15 months then that's a time when you look into it. But yeah every baby is different
Many have different looks on this. My son was saying mum, nan, dad & duck before 9 months but then 'forgot' them and then remember them one at a time, this is a constant cycle even at 16 months. My sons gp, hv and paediatricians have noted this as a concern and monitoring him. If you have other concerns with this, theres no harm in asking for some advice from professionals
Nope
My LO is 18 months old and doesn't have any solid words yet except maybe dada
My 11 month old only says dada. He doesn’t repeat it if I say it and will only say it if he wants to. I only hear mama when he’s crying. I did teach him how to cover his mouth and make noise but that’s it. I feel like he’s behind Lml. He claps.
No!! 9 months is early for words
My daughter started saying muma dada at 20 month. 9 month old is too young for that.
