Need feeding advice!

My baby is 7 months old and isn’t interested in anything besides the boob. Won’t take to solids, won’t take a bottle. I’m going back to work so I’m trying to get her on a better schedule besides eating to sleep and breast feeding. Any advice is appreciated!

Not advice but maybe a little comfort! My little boy took soooooo long to take to food and it was frustrating as everyone else’s I knew were big foodies. We got there eventually, he’s still a bit hit or miss but does eat atleast a little of each meal, sometimes a lot more than others and loves fruit. I found he preferred BLW, wanted to be messy and feed himself. And gradually reducing the amount I breastfed him possibly helped, so has nursery! He’s coming up 13 months now 😊

@Kirsty thank you! All my friends 4 month olds are loving solids and it’s making me feel like I’m doing something wrong 🙃 plus it’s taking the fun away from everything ! Like the bottle feeding is a nightmare and the foods is just a messy fail lol

I think you can try introducing a straw cup now. My son is breastfed and never took a bottle we just went straight to straw cup. When i taught him I sucked the liquid to the top of the straw then let him try. It’s easier if they don’t have to wait for it to come up the straw lol. As for food we started with green bean + breastmilk puree, banana breastmilk & banana avocado breastmilk. For solids he liked cold apple slices for his sore gums, and strawberries. Slow and steady, he’ll get it I promise. The organic baby pouches and teething crackers are almost always a hit.

Does anyone feed her besides you? Sometimes that helps. My son will not take a bottle from me, but from my husband or sister in law (she watches him while I work) he's fine with it. We started food by giving him a taste of what I was eating. Literally just letting him lick it. That got him wanting food more and he's willing to try what I give him now. Though he always gives me a "what on earth did you put in my mouth" face when it's new

My baby eats something but very small amounts. Doesn't take bottle but drinks from glass, so I try to give her formula from glass 😀 we are learning to drink from sippy cup and then I'll put formula in there so at least I can have some free time and my Hubby is able to feed her 😀
