How much would you pay for a personal chef for a party ?

My sister is throwing a person and the chef she wanted is charging $ 195 person person she said maybe another time. I think that's too much but if you want quality I guess you have to pay more.

Party 🥳 **not person

I’ve seen it be by the hour and you pay for the groceries

I would pay 150 for something like my birthday or some thing at my house but not for random people who aren’t close to me

150 is pretty normal. 195 is stretching it but it depends

@Donna Yes for my little family at home I would but not extended family I'm not balling like that lol

$195 for the party? To cater for how many? I would've thought that's a fair price, for my daughter's 18th last year I paid a woman over $250 just for 2x trays of sml beef sliders (20 on each tray) & jelly shots, I also supplied some ingredients and vodka. This woman was a friend's neighbour and volunteered to do it free of charge then sent me an invoice.

@Kym ♡ No 195 a person for a party of about 6 people so $ 1,200

@Kym ♡ She definitely shouldn't have sent you a invoice

I’m a private chef and I charge anywhere between $30-$100 per person based on what’s asked
