Paci

My oldest had the hardest time giving up her paci. She had it until she was 3, and one day just traded it for a bag of donuts and never looked back. It will happen❤️ try not to worry too much.

Not at all! My little girl still needs one to sleep too and that's ok for now. Our dentist said they don't start really affecting teeth until about 3yrs old and I've just chosen to pick my battles. I'm not going to take it until she has all her molars in because she is in pain and needs that extra comfort to relax and sleep right now.

Okay this helps me too because I have been stressing it out and told my husband that we need to slow down with paci using and he also said it’s fine until 3years. So this helps 😊

Mine has his too. Refuses to give it up even during the day. We’ll have really good stretches (several hours) where he’ll be fine without it them bam! He wants it and there is a tantrum. He sleeps with 2 I can’t imagine what trying to take them away at bedtime will be like. It got worse when I had his sister for a couple weeks. I hate the thing.

My daughter just got rid of it 2 weeks ago and it was awful lol but I noticed her teeth were doing something weird so I had to commit 😭😭 it was honestly better than I thought it was going to be because she was like addicted to it ! Everywhere she went she had it. She hasn’t asked for it thankfully :) You got this ! Just do it when it’s right for you and her :)

We had a hard time with pacifiers here, but it was a harder struggle for my oldest. My girls are 19 months apart and my older daughter used her pacifier for sleeping for a long time. Both of my girls started chewing through their pacifiers, so I would show them it was broken and throw them away. One day we ran out of them and I told my girls they weren’t getting new ones. So I weaned my girls from the pacifier at the same time but it was kind of just cold turkey.
