Dilation question

I had 2cm with my 4th baby for 4days 😀 I think its different for everyone 🙂

Dilated 3cm and gave birth next day too, 38w3d

39+5 delivered. Was 39+3 when I was 1cm dilated and having contractions.

with my first i gave birth at 39+1 and was 6cm and had him that night. my second i was 36+5 and was 4cm and had her that afternoon

Was 1cm starting at 36w and stayed that was until I went into labor at 38+6... progressed to 3cm when they admitted me

I only allowed one cervical check once I was in active labor. But I know from the birth educational classes that dilation has zero indication on when you'll actually give birth. Could be hours, days, or weeks. And you could even be 6cm & if a stressful situation occurs, dilation can go back (say down to 3cm).

I was 1cm at 38w 4 days and gave birth at 38w and 6 days

First 27+2 I was in slow Labour all day; have no idea how many cm I was dilated but my second 39+5 induced they checked and said I was 2cm gave birth the next day with the hormonal drip x

There are three things that matter during labor: dilation, efacement and station. Look these up and you’ll have a better understanding of timing 😀
