Same! Induction date is 1/22 at 40 weeks and it’s dragging. Every time I try to induce naturally I get Braxton hicks that don’t stick. 😭
Can you request to be induced if your not making progress
@Precious they offered induction to me, but said I had to be making progress physically to qualify for it. I am 2-3cm dilated & 50% effaced so I am able to get an induction.
Wow! They won’t induce me until 41 weeks not a day before! I don’t know how you all get it earlier I’ve asked a number of times and they say no :(

@Savanna I bought a perineal massage oil off Amazon. I think the brand is Lansinoh. But you can use any natural, water soluble oil pretty much. Coconut, almond, or olive would work!
with my first i went 40+2 (membrane sweep at 40w) with my second i went 40+4 (only cervical checks) why not push your induction to at least the 24-25th if spontaneous labor was your goal.. let baby cook if there are no risk factors. my boy was 10lbs i had no tears. ask for oil to be put on perineum during transition
