Felt a pop while peeing

I’ve just been up to toilet and felt a popping sensation…no mucus plug and cramps haven’t been regular…could that have been my water breaking?!

Yes it could if you felt a pop. Iv snt think of any other scenario where you would feel a pop. Best to her checked out.

This happened to me yesterday but I was in river island changing rooms😅 came up to triage to get checked out and they said my waters are still intact so it was most probably baby suddenly pressing on my bladder so I couldn’t really control it… they’ve done an internal scan, scan to check baby and different swabs. One swab for pre term labour came bad as the faintest positive but I’ll be 36 weeks on Monday so the consultant wasn’t that worried about it and said I will most probably have the baby within the next two weeks. They’ve kept me in overnight just to monitor and keep an eye out if anything does happen but so far nothing so I am hoping to be going home this morning. And to top it all off it’s my baby shower today so hopefully I’ll make it 😅 but please please please get checked out just in case!

You can put a pad on and lie down for five minutes after emptying your bladder, if there’s a gush of water when you stand up it’s your waters as they would’ve pooled in your cervical area/vagina whilst lay down. It’s not foolproof but it’s a good way to check! If in doubt always get it checked out🫶🏻

Thanks for responding everyone - I’ve not had anymore gushes of water but I am having lots of braxton hicks - thinking it just may be her moving down a bit more but definitely not in labour I don’t think!
