Anyone awake?

So my 20 month hold has had crappy sleep in weeks and I’ve become so numb to sleep when I even sleep I don’t even feel like I’ve slept, now in disbelief that he hasn’t woke up yet ( in previous nights he would wake up every hour) I also have to handle the husbands snoring…oh the things we mums have to tolerate.. we should be awarded every months wth is this life

Yup awake over here too, 26 month old who’s suddenly decided it’s time for a sleep regression

My almost 22 month old was up every 2 hours last night 🧟‍♀️

@Brodie Yep my toddler woke up 20 mins after this post

My 20 month old is the same! What is going on with our toddlers! I’m trying to keep mine in her cot. By 4/5am she refuses to go back so in bed with me she goes 🤣 I can empathise to an extent. I dread bedtime & can’t wait for it at the same time. Why is it that, we are so exhausted but can’t physically sleep?! Honestly feel the poor sleep is gonna give me a heart attack one day 😫

@Farrah oh tell me about it, he’s got the cough as well for me it’s about waking every hour

When he wakes up, what happens? Does he just want you to hold him? My little girl was the same & I don’t understand why they do it 🥲🥲

@Farrah yes he wants me to hold him, but we Colleen and I raised him to this point with a habit of rocking him to sleep on my legs on a pillow, and he expects me to continuously do that until he falls asleep, and now he’s become so sensitive I can only sleep sitting down with him on my legs on a pillow sitting on the bed 🫣

Aww you poor thing! Yeah, it will be really difficult to take that away. There’s so many different approaches but they rely on us so much to fall asleep. Do you think you will consider any sleep training approaches? X
