Yes totally normal, usually gets darker towards the start of period
@Lucy this is an ovulation test, it shouldn’t be positive if you are about to get your period but if pregnant, the LH test turns positive too

@Raquel it is normal for lh to rise slightly before period
@Charley Yeah, it can pick as your HCG is rising , LH and HCG can be picked up on ovulation stick. I tested on my before a period, and it was low xx

@Kirsty no even when not pregnant it is normal for lh to rise before period.
@Charley I know when i tested a day before my AF was due, it was low 0.19. As i saw on here, I wanted to test myself to see xx

@Kirsty yours might have been low but it is normal for lh to rise before a period in about a third of people. So that's pretty common. https://www.miracare.com/blog/lh-surge-before-period/

It rises in both cases, before your period and it can rise if you’re pregnant too as HCG and LH chemicals are similar so it doesn’t no the difference. No one is wrong in this situation. Mine has looked like this in both cases.
