Crawling?

Been crawling for almost 2 months x

My eldest didn’t crawl until just after 9 months, but then was walking 2 weeks later by 10 months. My May 24 baby has been showing signs for a few weeks now but hasn’t started, she has friends that are crawling but can’t sit and steady as she can. Try not to compare, your lo will get there in their own time xx

I think 9 months is pretty average for crawling, so I wouldn’t worry! X

My two started crawling at 7½ months ❤️

They all do things at different rates❤️

My first baby started crawling at 7 months and my second baby can hardly sit unassisted for a few minutes at a time. They all develop at different paces. Do you have a bigger baby? That can delay crawling a bit.

@Mikayla my baby is a tall baby.. 25th percentile. Hopefully that is it and she will soon crawling and walk there after.. she's had other milestones so not overly concerned but still

You mean she's tall relative to her weight? 25th percentile means that 75% of babies her age are taller. But really, it just doesn't matter. How soon your baby develops crawling says nothing about how successful they'll be in life. Some babies even skip crawling all together and go straight to walking. I understand the human tendency to compare, but you definitely have nothing to worry about. ❤️❤️

@Mikayla thank you so much for your kind words.. her weight she was 25th percentile and height she was above 99th last time we had it checked.. so very tall baby I know, I've just spent days trying to teach her to crawl.. but I know deep down, it really doesn't matter as long as she's happy and healthy.. ❤️

Only army crawl, not the 4 limbs lol 😂 also try not to compare because eventually they will get it all done. Comparing is thief of a joy.

My baby will be 9 months on the 29th and she’s only just started going onto all fours. She can’t move or anything yet and only slides backwards lol I wouldn’t worry <3 :)

We’re army crawling and rocking back and forth on hands and knees. He can’t sit independently for more than 30 seconds though. My daughter was fully independently sitting at 5 months and crawled at 10 months. No two babies are the same x
