I have my pushchair in the boot with my large dog and it's strapped out the way and I had a golf as I didn't want anything on the back seats due to baby safety
@Shania Ooh that’s good to know, do they sell the straps with the pushchairs?
@Charley I’ve got a Citigo at the minute but the dogs go in the back so I’ll need something new. I wasn’t sure if the pushchair could be secured down somehow..
@Alex you could secure the pram in the main cabin, but would need to find some secure tether points in the car, like rock solid bits of metal under the seats for example and strap it to that. You'll struggle with a car that small and large dogs and baby for sure. You can buy dog guards that not only go behind the rear head rests but also split the boot in half. I've got one and my medium and large dog go on one side, and my pram fits in the other. It's very secure. Look at travall dog guards or guardsman. They're custom made for each car.
Its not really safe to have a pushchair in the back seats with the baby. If you were to crash it would fly into the air and become a projectile, if that hit or landed on the baby it could have catastrophic consequences. What car do you have? There's other solutions for dogs that may be possible
