@Cheyann I didn’t use the “…” on the corner of the post to report. Instead I went this route; - go to help centre - policies & reporting - reporting a privacy violation - report a photo or video that violates the privacy of your child - then filled out the privacy contact form for children under 13 yrs old. There’s a bit of a form to fill out, plus you need the URL of the photo. Then there was some emailing back and forth with Facebook about the details of the photo, a screenshot of the post, and proof of identity and guardianship.
@Cheyann to make my reasoning for violation of privacy be taken seriously, I stated the risks of child endangerment on the internet. I also had a hospital photo of me and my daughter posted and I made it clear that the photo was taken in a patient’s private hospital room and not a public space
@Cheyann hope this helps and best of luck ❤️
Thank you, I'm going to try this
No one should post photos of someone else or their child without consent so I absolutely support this post and sorry you had to deal with it especially when you told her to stop. I’m glad they are being taking down and hope you can move forward knowing that their won’t be countless of photos of your child out there that you didn’t consent to
How did you get them taken down? My husband's stepmom posted my son before I even left the recovery room after my c section. I planned on making an announcement post after reaching our actual room, and she took that from me. She hasn't even seen him since he was 6 weeks old, he's now 20 months and she still has it up even though I have reported it a couple times.
