IUD baby

What type of IUD did you get? I think there’s some that you have to wait about 7 days before having any sex depending on the time of your cycle when you get it placed.

@Dara I got the Mirena I got it 8 weeks pp and we waited 2 weeks to have sex

I’ve used different kinds of iuds over the last almost 20yrs. Never had a pregnancy or even a close call.

I did. I had my pp appt and had copper iud placed. Went 6 weeks later it had moved. Dr removed it. I took a test there and it was negative. She told me to take one a few days later. Came out positive. My son is now 3yo

Oh yeah then maybe it dislodged or expelled (I’ve heard it can happen without you even realizing it). I had the mirena for a while but then switched to the kyleena and havent had any close calls!
