Did God join the two of you together? Was it His choice or y'alls?

@🌻Desy🌻 honestly, one of the main reasons we did so fast is so my kids and I could get on his work insurance

Divorce isn’t a sin, remariage when your spouse is still alive is

@elia even if the divorce was from infidelity?it’d still be a sin to remarry?

yes it would, if you divorce because of infidelity, you would have to decide to remain single, unless if your spouse died then you would be able to remarry

The Holy Spirit of God gave me permission to leave my first marriage. It wasn't a marriage He adjoined in the first place. Not everything was/is one size fits all. God appointed Moses, judges, prophets, and holy priests to help people sort out the laws. Now we have the Holy Spirit who guides us in our real life details that might not be explained in great details in scriptures. Ultimately...He holds your heartbeat & you must seek the truth from Him. I was a Christian that went through divorce and remarried to a man whom came to genuine faith in Jesus over our 4.5yr relationship. We've been together nearly 15 years now, parents for almost 9 years (3 kids) and an incredible call over our lives. I wouldn't have had this life with my ex. 3 little souls wouldn't exist. God's hand has been over my marriage, my children, and something big is coming...the enemy would have loved to render me useless, living in the prison of a life I was in. Let me tell you something...your life is not a spiritual debate.

You listen to GOD JESUS HOLY SPIRIT AND the Bible. You ask Him. You allow Him to reveal the truth of how you should navigate this one life you get. This is about you,God, truth...and your children and spouse. Lean into Him closer than ever and do whatever He say. I'm praying on this right now.

The Bible gives 2 main reasons for divorce: adultery and abandonment by an unbelieving spouse. It’s important you study what the Bible says concerning divorce and both the old and New Testament. However, as mentioned above, not every marriage is ordained by God either. So the best person to ask is GOD HIMSELF. Fast, pray and seek Him for clarity and answers for your life. You can remarry but you want to make sure it is Yahweh’s will for your life and that your divorce was biblical. Let’s say you get divorce and don’t remarry. If your ex had sex with someone else or gets married then it would be adultery anyway. So seek The Holy Spirit for your life and let God lead you through what you’re facing. If you follow His plan and stay obedient, you will see His plan manifested in your life!
