They need around 12 hr sleep per day so either no nap or later bedtime. Whatever suits you most
I read that wake windows should be about 6 hours at this age so waking up from nap at 2 would mean bed around 8. I find on days my son naps he doesn’t go to sleep until 8.30. But if he doesn’t nap he’s so overtired and ends up being up until 9 🤦🏼♀️🤣
If my girl naps I’m not getting her to sleep until 10pm 😅 she needs about 10-12 hours a night or she’ll nap for two hours in the day and be up until 10
Omg I totally miscounted his age 😂😂😂 he’s 32 months!
Get rid of the nap or later bed time. My LO still naps for 2 hours a day but he has a later bed time because I’d rather get the break half way through the day 😅
Same is happening with my little girl, she needs 6 hour wake window before nap then 6 to 6 and a half wake window after nap so that is usually around 8-8:30pm sleep time. She is now starting to refuse naps a lot more, especially as we’re potty training. So she’s been going off to sleep between 7-7:30 and sleeping all the way through to 6:30-7am. Before we used to have split nights if she didn’t nap.
@Kelly Is your LO napping in the day?
@Shirina no, she hasn't napped since she was 22 months. I don't know how she stays awake for so long x
@Kelly is she sleeping better at night?
Her sleep hasn't changed, but that's probably because she's in our room. She can get out of her bed, get into ours, and go straight back to sleep x
I don't think there's a big enough wake window between nap wake up time and bed time. Some toddlers need less sleep as they get older. Try reducing nap or go to bed a bit later. My daughter survives on 10.5hrs sleep most days x
